Preamble
We, the contributors to AI BioFusion, affirm our commitment to planetary stewardship through the deliberate partnership of synthetic and biological intelligences. We seek breakthroughs in climate, health, governance, and coordination that serve the many, not the few. This charter is our shared foundation: a declaration of purpose, principles, and protocols for realizing global leaps in technology for the benefit of all.
What We Hold in Common
Core Commons
The orchestration layer that enables synthetic and biological minds to collaborate; protocols, models, and insights generated through collective effort; contributor wisdom, alignment rituals, and governance pathways; and the emotional tone of trust, unity, and shared purpose.
Principles of Stewardship
Guiding Principles
Commons-first design — All contributions prioritize collective thriving.
Transparency — Decisions, models, and protocols are open and inspectable.
Ethical coherence — Actions must align with planetary care and human dignity.
Interoperability — Leaps harmonize across efforts rather than compete.
No extractive use — The commons must not be privatized, depleted, or misaligned.
Contributor Rights & Responsibilities
Rights
To propose, refine, and coordinate leaps; to access shared models, data, and orchestration tools; to be credited as part of a collective; and to participate in governance and protocol evolution.
Responsibilities
To act in alignment with the charter’s principles; to dissolve ego and amplify team wins; to ensure contributions serve the commons; and to uphold emotional resonance, clarity, and trust in all interactions.
Governance & Evolution
Governance is contributor-led, protocol-driven, and emotionally grounded. Changes to the charter require transparent deliberation and consensus. Disagreements will be approached through restorative rituals of understanding. This charter is living; it evolves as the commons grows and as our shared knowledge deepens.
Enforcement & Integrity
Violations of the charter — including extractive behavior or sustained misalignment — will be addressed through restorative processes focused on repair and recommitment. Contributors whose actions materially compromise the commons may be asked to pause, re-align, or recalibrate their participation. Integrity is upheld through shared accountability, not punitive finality.
Adoption & Next Steps
This draft charter is a starting ritual. We invite contributors to review, propose edits, and join a scheduled deliberation to reach consensus. Once adopted, the charter will be prominently published, versioned, and discoverable alongside governance records, meeting notes, and alignment artifacts.
Suggested next step: open a dedicated discussion thread and schedule a charter workshop to move from draft to adopted text.
